Review of Enlyten. Are Appetite Suppressant Strips, Calorie Burner Strips and FIX Recovery Strips Marketable?

Enlyten is a new MLM company that has a new twist on Health and Wellness. They are marketing mouth strips that offer different effects on athletes and fitness buffs.

These Enlyten strips are antioxidant strips whose main function is to prevent free radicals.

Current press on the company states that they have hired Shaquille O’Neal as spokesperson and have designated Joint Aid Management (JAM) as their charity of choice.

Electrolyte plus strips enhance physical performance by filling the body with much needed electrolytes. In order to restore energy these strips provide a blend of ginko biloba, Vitamins B and C, caffeine and ginsing. Melatonin Strips contain both theanine and melatonin to function as a natural support to prevent stress mentally and physically. There are also strips that supposedly control appetite and burn extra calories. These are called Appetite Suppressant Strips, Calorie Burner Strips and FIX Recovery Strips.

The FDA has been cracking down on the Health and Wellness Industry and their claims of enhanced health and wellness and blanket statements about cures and prevention are coming under enhanced scrutiny. You will now always see a disclaimer at the bottom of the company web pages that reads:

Marketing the Strips:

Enlyten has chosen the MLM model for marketing these strips but this may be more difficult with the FDA restrictions. You can, however, generate income by retailing these strips and develop residual income by bringing in distributors.

Enlyten: The companies compensation plan is a Binary System that pays out residual income based upon product sales of your downline

Company Bios:

Henry Penix, President, has experience as a successful entrepreneur and business consultant

Robert Haefner, CFO and COO, has a background in finance, marketing, sales and operations both nationally and internationally

Tom Staab, Executive Vice President, is a business professional with about 12 years experience involved with network marketing, franchising, licensing and emerging businesses.

Lynn Mitchell, Founder and CEO, has entrepreneurial experience along with a philosophy of practicality, innovation and common sense.

Two issues I see with the products listed above are that although they are unique to the marketplace and you can get similar products at a much lower price. If you take a look at the product for any MLM company, you should be able to say, “I would recommend this product even if I wasn’t trying to make a fortune with it!” If you can say that, you may have found your company.

Of course the products that a MLM company has are only the beginning. This company certainly has put a lot of effort and money into their product. You still have to go out and Market the products; they are not going to do it for you.

Just like any MLM company, a large number of people are not going to have success in Enlyten. Just looking at the statistics about Network Marketing in general, the odds look bad in that about 97% of people will fail or quit. Also, about 70% of the companies compensation plan gets paid out to the top 3% of the Distributors. If you think about it, it really must be that way. The question is, however…

How are You Going To Get To The Top Of The Marketing Plan?

There are SIX steps to success in your Enlyten MLM business opportunity or any other MLM for that matter, and the people that fail have a deficiency with one or more of the steps below.

1) Define your goals and Make a Decision to Reach them (check out the link!)

2) Identify your “Target Market”.

3) Do Your Homework on the products and make sure you are comfortable marketing them on their own merit.

4) Be sure your Target Market LOVES the product.

5) Get Effective Training!! (Very Important)

6) Find the Correct Mentors and do what they tell you. Don’t re-invent the wheel.

What I’ve given you so far in this article is a little information to help you with the first 4 steps. You will of course need to fill in the blanks for yourself. I can tell you that the Training that you receive in every MLM company is horrendous. The techniques they use are “stuck in the 80s and 90s”.

If you do not get effective training, you are trying to chop down the tree with a hammer. It may work eventually but its going to take forever.

Finding the correct mentors in this field is very difficult. I know, I’ve tried and fallen flat on my face many times.

The techniques that I currently use to build my MLM company, are a blueprint used by the best Marketers in the world and they WORK. The system not only works for you but they work for your entire team which is massive in its power.

If you have satisfied the requirements for steps 1 – 4 and are happy with Enlyten as your vehicle of choice, than I have found a system to help you explode through steps 5 and 6.

If you have looked at this company and are not sure you have satisfied the requirements for steps 1 – 4 it doesn’t matter either. It is your personal choice.
