I recently listened to a video interview by Anthony Robbins about the 5 keys to thrive and realized that the Network Marketing industry is a perfect window for observing how well someone is able to apply these 5 keys to Thrive and to take action.  What a phenomenal industry.  Your success is completely dependent on how well you implement these actions.

The current economy is the absolute best thing to hit the Network Marketing industry in 40 years.   Just about everyone I talk to today is looking for an opportunity to escape the economic windfall that has hit the global scene.  It seems that people are much more motivated and much more open to opportunities to create a healthy personal economy and Network Marketing is a fantastic option for people that are willing to do what it takes to succeed.  Notice that I did not title this article the 5 Keys to Survive.  I am interested in Thriving in this economy not just Surviving.

The Five Keys to Thrive:

1) Strengthen Your Mind:

You have to control your inner voice.  Self-talk can be very destructive.  Be very careful what you tell yourself everyday.  You need to practice encouraging and positive self-talk and that can be very hard for some people.  Try this:  Begin to notice what you say to yourself on a daily basis.  Would your friends and family tolerate you talking to them that way?

You have to feed your mind. Read, Listen, and Learn from the people that can help you the most.  Find the people that have what you want and then learn from them through books, tapes, seminars, videos ….  whatever.

Finally,  you have to stand guard at the door to your mind.  You have got to protect yourself from the negative influences and the hateful or lazy people that try to take over your thought processes.  The thoughts that enter your mind become real and you will give them meaning.  The meaning you give them will affect your life in many ways.  Be careful what you let in to your mind.

2) Strengthen your Body:

Getting into shape gives you a foundation of strength.  Everything in your life feeds off of your physiology.  The better your physiology the greater the foundation from which to build every other thing upon.  Do not take this lightly.

3) Get a Role Model:

There is a pathway to get from where you are to where you want to be in life.  Don’t reinvent the wheel.  You can follow a path blazed by others and excel in whatever adventure you want for your life.  Use role models so that you can learn to deal with the problems you encounter along the way.

4) Get a Plan and Take Action:

You don’t have to have a perfect plan to get started.  By taking action, you will learn how to adjust your plan and any fear that you have about taking action, melts away as you take the action.  You need to become comfortable coming out of your comfort zone.

5) Strengthen your Spirit:

Figure out what you are grateful for and give thanks for what you have in your life.  I’ve met people who appear to have everything and they are miserable because they are not grateful.  I also know people who appear to have nothing in life but are incredibly happy because they are grateful.  Always remember that Motive does Matter.

The better you apply these 5 Keys, the greater your success in Network Marketing and in Life.
