Everyone wants to know how to Get MLM Results and how to get MLM Success.  Everyone around you is showing you the next great opportunity, the next great lead generation system, the next great product to explode your business.  These things are important and I have talked about them extensively on this blog.

Unfortunately, unless you are able to Train Your Mind, the greatest system on the internet is not going to help you much.  You are responsible for your results.  Only YOU.

For some of you, that is good news.  That means that it is up to you and you will do whatever it takes.  For the rest of you, you look at that statement and cringe.

Fear is a primordial instinct.  Your mind is not set up to show you how to be successful and happy in life.  Your subconscious mind, which runs our lives by the way, is set up to keep you alive.  It is constantly reacting to situations through fear, worry, skepticism, and doubt.   Unfortunately, these reactions are a result of your past experiences and most people in life, live their lives according to these rules that were established outside of our control.

Successful people have these same reactions to situations.  The difference is that they work through them in-spite of their fear, worry, self-doubt, and skepticism.

Yes it is important to listen to your mind, but it is more important to objectively recognize your thoughts and evaluate them instead of just reacting to them.   Evaluate them and ask yourself this question.

Is this thought an empowering thought or not.  Is this thought going to help me succeed or prevent me from reaching my goals.

Success in MLM, and in anyother venture in life, is a product of how much ACTION we take despite our fear.

Fear is an emotion about the uncertainty of the future based upon the rules set up in your mind about past experiences.

Action is in the present.  Once you engage in the action, the fear disappears.  You will only realize this once you are strong enough to take action.

You have to start by taking action! Don’t think, just do it!

Train your mind to constantly get going especially if you don’t feel comfortable or you don’t feel like it. You may not succeed but who cares.  If you are worried about what other people are going to think of you,  then I got news for you.  They already think and talk about you.  When you are successful, they think and talk about you even more.  Your attitude will change quickly once you start taking action.  If you are one of the few who will do this consistently, your MLM Results and your MLM Success will follow.  It’s biological and psychological.

If you consistently have a  difficult time getting over that hump then join the club.  Concentrate on  what you are thinking about that makes you scared or not feel like it.   It’s going to be too hard? Too painful to complete? Take more time than you want it to?

Most of the time you are exaggerating but even if any of that was remotely true–  and just so you know, almost always  it isn’t — realize that no one is going to get the results they deserve with these disabling thoughts.   You can make the best of it or the worst of it. We choose. It’s as simple as that.

Take one step at a time and have faith in both yourself and in what experts are telling you until the Law of Momentum takes over.  Once that happens,  you will not even remember why you hesitated, and you will be on your way.  You will also feel much better about it all.

To take that first step, click the banner below.

So the tip of the day:

Act even if you don’t feel like it and your MLM Results and Your MLM Success will Follow!

When you hear the term “internet marketing“, what do you think of?

For many, that term conjures thoughts of websites or spamming or search engines like Google, Yahoo and Bing. For others, it’s all about graphical design, writing fancy code or even affiliate programs. All of those answers correct, but the essence of internet marketing is much simpler.

At its core, internet marketing is about these things:

* Understanding the target market to which the product/service/cause you’re marketing will appeal
* Determining exactly how your target market interacts with the internet
* Positioning your content on the internet to attract the attention of your target market
* Collecting information about your target market (also known as “leads”) for follow-up and conversion into sales
* Design of offers or incentives to induce the desired actions from your leads

Since there is insufficient space in this article to give all of these topics adequate attention, let’s focus on just one specific topic with the realm of internet marketing: Email Marketing.

My best payoff has always come by focusing on permission-based email marketing. Permission-based email marketing refers to the practice of collecting information (including email addresses) from website visitors and communicating with them via e-mail with their direct consent. The “permission” aspect of permission-based email marketing is what separates legitimate email marketers from the spammers that everyone despises.

My love of email marketing is strong for one reason: It works very well. Email marketing has been much like a never-ending goldmine: It enables us to produce income on demand simply by sending a good offer to our list. When you have thousands of loyal subscribers – as we do – and you put a strong and compatible offer in front of them, income becomes nearly automatic.

However, the key to successful email marketing is the development of a legitimate trust relationship with your subscribers. If you opt to send your subscribers a request for purchases every single day, they will likely tire of your badgering and cease reading your emails altogether.

Alternatively, if you take the time to provide good content to your readers on a regular and frequent basis, you’ll discover that your readers take all of your emails far more seriously, and as a result your emails will be opened, read and acted upon with greater frequency. Essentially, email marketing is really an exercise in trust.

While there are many more aspects to internet marketing than just permission-based email marketing, email has definitely been the cornerstone on which our business is built.

Most businesses suffer from misguided marketing campaigns. Marketing failures does not only cost thousands of dollars, businesses also miss out on the customers who decide not to buy because they were not convinced.

Let us admit that there is no foolproof marketing campaign. Even the top marketing experts make many fatal mistakes in their marketing campaigns. For big Fortune 500 companies, a massive marketing mistake will not make a dent on the finances of the business; but a smaller size mistake may cause a small business to close down. So find out what you can do to prevent these disastrous errors.

• The most common mistake of small businesses is their failure to have a marketing strategy. They simply don’t have a marketing campaign. The executives one day will decide to design custom brochures without fully understanding how they are linked to the overall campaign or future projections. Most of them take the “If you build it, they will come” approach which fails miserably most of the time. So to avoid this fatal mistake, you have to develop a marketing campaign that outlines how you intend to implement it and for how long do you intend to have this campaign.

• Online and offline marketing efforts are often neglected. They choose one and often neglect the potential of the other. In today’s highly connected marketplace, that simply won’t work. You need to take advantage of every opportunity. Your brochure printing must go hand in hand with your website. They must complement each other. Neglecting half of the potential marketplace is simply not smart business. So make sure your marketing campaign encompasses both of these arenas.

• Another mistake is the failure to track marketing efforts. Some ideas, no matter how well planned out and how forcefully implemented, simply don’t work. Either because it’s not the right method for your industry, or the timing isn’t right. You need to know which ones are working and which aren’t so you can pursue the successful ones with more effort, and slow down or stop the unsuccessful ones. That’s not to say that you should stop an ineffective campaign. Some just require small changes which can result in a drastic inflow of traffic. Or maybe, the first month it wasn’t implemented forcefully enough, but in months after it picked up steam. Don’t completely give up on ideas. But also don’t follow them into the ground. At some point, you need to know when to stop.

Even though there are more sides to internet marketing than just email marketing (permission based), email has been the foundation that our business sits on.

How are you going to build your Melaleuca Business?  Signing up distributors is not the solution to building a huge downline in Melaleuca.  Yes you have to be able to sign up distributors in order to build a team but if you want to take advantage of best part of Network Marketing, the residual income, then you need to become a leader.

Becoming a leader in Network Marketing is no different than any other aspect of your life.  Leadership is an action.  It is not a position.  If you look at the leaders in Melaleuca, for example, they are not leaders because of the position they are in, they are leaders because of the action they took to get to that position. I don’t know how many times I hear people say “ I’d love to have a downline like they have, then I’d be a leader.”  Wrong.  Their downline did not just happen.  They took action, over and over again on a consistent basis over some period of time in order to lead that team.

The position someone has is really just a consequence of the action they have taken.

Qualities of Leadership

1)     Responsibility,

If it is to be, then it is up to me.  The first step up the mountain is realizing that you are the one that needs to make it happen.  You need to own your success.  You need to make sure that your success is not dependant on anyone.

2)     Listening.

You have got to be the type of person that truly listens to what people are saying.  In order for them to follow you, they have to see you as a solution to their problems.

3)     Valuable Service.

The service you provide needs to provide value for people.  If there is no perception of value, people will not buy.  Ever.  The only time people purchase products is if they perceive a value in the product.  The only way people sign up with you is they perceive a value in your service.   When someone around you needs help with a situation, are you the first person to step up and give them a hand or not.  Willingness and a desire to genuinely help others without receiving anything in return is the mark of a true leader.  It is a rare person.

4)     Consistency of Good Habits.

The vast majority of people have had moments in their life when they were in a zone; everything went right and they felt on top of the mountain.  The problem is that life kicks us in the shins all the time.  The difference between someone that succeeds and someone that doesn’t is that the leader has developed great habits and uses them everyday consistently.  Small differences every single day lead to huge differences over the long term

5)     Heart.

Good leaders have to have heart.  Heart is a difficult thing to define.  It is a combination of courage, sensitivity, and inner knowledge and trust in yourself.  It begins with you knowing without a doubt in your mind that you will get to where you want to go.

One of my favorite quotes is from a great coach and mentor, Mr. Jeff Combs.  His team in MLM had over 20 people that were earning a 6 figure income in his downline in a two year period.  Someone asked him, “Where did you find all these great leaders?”   His answer was, “I became a great leader and they found me.” Talent is truly overrated.

In order to succeed in life you have to be able to get comfortable getting uncomfortable.  You have to embrace and anticipate change and love it.  That is difficult for many people to do and they stay in their comfort zone.

If that is you, then you need to make a change or success will be difficult to achieve in the long run. With regard to network marketing, and specifically with marketing on the internet, you have got to learn to develop that leader within you.

If you could have an online marketing system that teaches you to develop those skills and pays you while you learn, that gives you the best of both worlds.
