Xango began back in 2002. It took the better part of a year to get out of debt but by the end of their first year Xango had about $48 million in sales. The significant sales income was primarily secondary to the significant amout of front end purchases that the reps were “encouraged” to make after signing up. Xango was involved in a legal dispute with Morinda and this went back and forth for sometime but has since been resolved.
The compensation plan is all right but not as competitive as other companies in this industry. Based upon the commission layout, it appears that this is the sole reason that 97% of the reps will fail within this company. It appears that as a distributor, you will have to recruit a larger number of people to generate a “break even” income.
Xango did stumble a bit after some initial success probably due to their legal issues but has hit a decent stride in the last few years.
They provide a huge number of products from their XanGo Juice (Mangosteen Juice) to their meal packs; to their skin care products.
The industry has close to 80 million people who consume and use these types of products each year. One of the problems is that in this economy, people are not loyal to product names. They are loyal to price and they can get these products elsewhere.
Of course the products that a MLM company has are only the beginning. This company certainly has put a lot of effort and money into their product. You still have to go out and Market the products; they are not going to do it for you.
Just like any MLM company, a large number of people are not going to have success in Xango. Just looking at the statistics about Network Marketing in general, the odds look bad. About 95% of the people are going to spend more money than they make. This is true of every MLM company, not just Xango.
So, Do you want to be a part of the 5% or not??
There are SIX steps to success in your Xango MLM and the people that fail have a deficiency with one or more of the steps below.
1) Define your goals and Make a Decision to Reach them (check out the link!)
2) Identify your “Target Market”.
3) Do Your Homework. Research long and hard my friends.
4) Know the Products and be sure your Target Market LOVES the product.
6) Find the Correct Mentors and do what they tell you to do. Don’t re-invent the wheel.
What I’ve given you so far in this article is a head start on the first 4 steps. You will of course need to fill in the blanks for yourself. I can tell you that the Training that you receive in Xango is horrendous. Not that they want you to fail but I believe that they really do not know any better. The techniques they use are “stuck in the 80s and 90s”.
If you want to cut down a large tree, you should use the sharpest axe you can find, spend 90% of your time making it sharper and then chop away… and never quit. That is assuming that you have fulfilled numbers 1 – 4 above.
If you do not get effective training, you are trying to chop down the tree with a hammer. It may work eventually but it’s going to take forever.
Finding the correct mentors in this field is very difficult. I know, I’ve tried and fallen flat on my face many times until…

If you have satisfied the requirements for steps 1 – 4, than I have found a system to help you explode through steps 5 and 6. If you have looked at this company and are not sure you have satisfied the requirements for steps 1 – 4 it doesn’t matter.
