1) Provide Original Content on a regular basis.

The first part of Article Marketing obviously is generating articles that provide original and pertinent content. Social Marketing

As a beginner, you want to start into these areas only once you have a firm grasp of the above two Strategies.  You will need a minimum budget of about $250-$500 per month for a total of 3 to 6 months.  For Google, you realistically need a budget of about $1000 per month for about 3 to 6 months.

The next step into this area should begin with ListBuilders and also Viral URL.  These you will need some time to become familiar with however.

Lets Look at your Marketing Goals.

You need to begin with a strategy that will start “Filling the Pipeline”.  You might start out writing down the specific goals you wish to accomplish and a column for the Goal Date and when it was achieved.  The goals will be based around the number of leads you are generating because Marketing is all about generating leads.  Let’s take a look at some examples of goals you might set to start.

1) Generate My First 10 Leads.

Some people beginning in online marketing have never generated any leads before.  Generating their first 10 leads is a major accomplishment.

2) Generate My First 100 Leads.

If you get to this point without quitting, you have accomplished more than 90% of all Network Marketers online.  This is a Huge Landmark.  This will likely require incorporating several of the above strategies.

3) Generate a Consistent 10 Leads per Day.

This starts to move you into some constant income if you have organized your sales funnel properly.  This usually indicates that you have become proficient at least 3 separate strategies in order to reach this goal.  You should shoot for this goal at about 3 month’s time if you are new to Internet Marketing.

There are 10 main strategies that are the key to ultimate success in Network Marketing. These strategies are true if you are marketing your business online or even if you are using traditional methods. If you can wrap you head around these and then apply them to your Network Marketing business, you will be successful. If you then, in turn work with a proven Online Marketing Program that is duplicable, your results will be staggering.

#1) Focus on Distribution instead of Sales.

One of the biggest mistakes people make when they look at the MLM industry is that they feel they have to be good at sales. Let me tell you folks that I have had great success with my MLM company and I have never sold a product. So many times I’ve heard, Joe is the best salesman at his company. He’s going to do awesome at this opportunity, only to watch Joe fall flat on his face. Let me get this out of the way. It really doesn’t matter if YOU like your MLM company product or not. The only thing that matters is are there enough OTHER PEOPLE that like it. You can not generate Passive Residual Income with sales. The only way you can do that is by partnering up with like minded people and duplicating your success with a system that anyone can use. Distributors are important, not Sales People.

#2) Focus on your connections.

You need to connect with everyone you meet. CONNECT! The more well-connected people you attract, the bigger your organization. Well-connected people do not have very much trouble getting things done. They know the right people. To build a huge organization, you need the right people with the right connections. That is the beauty of marketing this business online. The people that are well connected on the internet, are some of the most well connected people on the planet.

#3) Hang around better people.

Why would you want to market this to your next door neighbor. If he’s so successful, why does he live on the same street you do? Think about it. You want to improve yourself financially, hang around rich people. Want to be more spiritual…. you guessed it. One of my favorite quotes is from Anthony Robbin, “We are the sum total of the expectations of the people around us. If you want to be better, hang around better people.” Remember, success leaves clues.

#4) Help people without an agenda.

This is difficult for most people starting out in Network Marketing. They are so keyed up on getting this person and that person into their business that they will sell their souls. The only way the right people will want to come into your business, is because they want to work with you. If they sense that you are trying to hard sell or you are desperate, they are gone. Building a network that is healthy, takes time and a lot of effort. If it was easy, everyone would be on stage. Divorce yourself from the outcome. In the long run it will not matter is this person joins or not. If you are planning to signup two people and pull out a lawn chair and wait for the checks in the mail, your going to be in for a big dose of reality.

#5) Create Stories.

Notice I said create, not make up. The stories of Network Marketing Successes are some of the greatest stories of entrepreneurial spirit that I’ve every heard. The people you build your team with should be people that you want to hang out with. Why do you think that the leaders within your company all flock together? They have common goals and great stories that they share with each other. Once you are no longer living in scarcity, the friendships and social community you create with Network Marketing will be your long term enjoyment in this industry.

#6) Invest in yourself and in your team.

I’ve often heard it said, “Network Marketing is a Self Improvement Course that if done right will pay you well.” That really says it all.

#7) Keep dreaming and keep setting your sites higher.

Being a physician, I have had the unfortunate opportunity to see people that stop dreaming. They give up and quit on life. Do not take your MLM company lightly. It can be the vehicle to carry you to your dreams as long as you stay behind the wheel and keep it on the road.

#8) Do something!

Don’t analyze and calculate. In fact I would tell you that you shouldn’t even look at your downline printouts or graphics for at least 6 months. Just know that if you act and you learn and you apply and act some more and teach your team to do the same…. the company will send you money. The more you act, the more money they send.

#9) Focus more on your People Skills rather than your technical abilities.

Don’t think that doing your marketing on the internet means you don’t have to talk with people. In fact if you have the right system, you will be talking to more people. If you are not comfortable talking to people…. get that way. You can not succeed in MLM without people skills. The better they are, the bigger your organization.

#10) Outsource and Duplicate as much as possible.

As your team gets bigger, this becomes more important. The 4 Hour Work Week, by Tim Ferris is a must read if you are in Network Marketing.

It seems like everyone on the internet is pitching this product or this program. Here is the next big ground-floor opportunity in Network Marketing. Hurry, get in before anyone else. We have the best compensation plan, we have the best product, we have the best opportunity. Blah, Blah, Blah.

If you are doing this on the Internet, you are in for some straight-forward advice in this article. It is not going to work.
I have been using a tried and true system that has been designed and refined by the best internet marketers on the planet. I have some good news and some bad news.

The bad news is first. They have an incredible secret that you do not know. The people that walk on stage at your network marketing company know the secret but unless you are on stage, you probably do not know the secret!

The good news, however, is that you have just found the secret. I wish I could take credit for this but I just stumbled upon it one night and decided that since every other method was not working, I should listen to these successful people.

Turned out, I had just found the greatest collection of mentors on the internet and applying their system was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I just followed the path they had blazed and have never looked back. These guys and gals are true internet marketing rock stars. What I learned is that it does not matter what company you are with for the most part. The company should have a good product, and definitely needs to have a good management team and owners, but that is not enough.

The products that a MLM company has are only the beginning. Most MLM companies have put a lot of effort and money into their product. You still have to go out and Market the products; they are not going to do it for you.

Just like any MLM company, a large number of people are not going to have success. Just looking at the statistics about Network Marketing in general, the odds look bad. There are SIX steps to success in any MLM business opportunity and the people that fail have a deficiency with one or more of the steps below.

1) Define your goals and Make a Decision to Reach them (check out the link!)
2) Identify your “Target Market”.
3) Do Your Homework. Research long and hard my friends.
4) Know the Products and be sure your Target Market LOVES the product.
5) Get Effective Training
6) Find the Correct Mentors and do what they tell you.Don’t re-invent the wheel.

I can tell you that the Training that you receive in most MLM companies is horrendous. Not that they want you to fail, but I believe that they really do not know any better. The techniques they use are “stuck in the 80s and 90s”.

If you want to cut down a large tree, you should use the sharpest axe you can find, spend 90% of your time making it sharper and then chop away… and never quit. That is assuming that you have fulfilled numbers 1 – 4 above. If you do not get effective training, you are trying to chop down the tree with a hammer. It may work eventually but its going to take forever.
Finding the correct mentors in this field is very difficult. I know, I’ve tried and fallen flat many times until…
