So you want to build your Network Marketing business online?  You want to be able to connect with the world from the comfort of your office or bedroom or whatever.  The goal of course is to get people to find you through attraction marketing techniques and of course see you as a leader and then sign up into your organization.

There may be something that you are forgetting.  You can not fake being a leader.  You are either a leader or you are not.  You can not attract people to your organization without some degree of personal power combined with taking action.  It is not hard to sign up for a great sales funnel and a wonderful online marketing system to generate leads.  I can show you the best system on the internet, but even with the best system, you will have problems and probably quit if you do not desire your success enough.  So, as I said, having a great system is one thing.  It is another thing to develop a relationship with your leads and turn them into team members.  No marketing system will do that for you.

You will notice that I said team members and not reps.  If you truly want to use Network Marketing to create a long term residual income you have to build a team.  That does not mean simply signing up reps.  Each person signs up for their own reasons and to capture the picture that your opportunity has painted in their head.  Of course, the better you can paint a picture, the bigger your team will be in Network Marketing.

Part of being a leader is LEADING.  If you think you are a leader, try this…  turn around and see who is following you.  If no one is following you, you are not leading….   You are simply out for a walk.

There is an old saying that applies to Network Marketing that states, “Your organization will only grow as large as you grow.”  Self development is an important part of your success in Network Marketing, but being able to help your team members with their self development is the secret to massive success in your downline.

For the most part, the Network Marketing Company you are in is not the secret to your success nor is it the reason for your failure provided you have joined a reputable company.  You can have success with both online and offline techniques with any Network Marketing company although some are easier and more lucrative than others.  The point is that as long as you believe in the product, you will be able to market your opportunity.

Do not fall into the trap of blaming one system of Marketing, one particular Company or one type of product for your failure.   Network Marketing is an industry that is and will most likely be responsible for more millionaires than any other form of entrepreneurial endeavor.  That doesn’t mean that it will be easy.  It is, however, simple.

Again, as a beginner, you want to choose only one of these strategies and only after you are comfortable with the Social Marketing.  Article and Video Marketing is a natural extension of the Social Marketing Strategy.

Paid Marketing Strategies

This includes things like Pay Per Click advertising with Google, Yahoo, MSN and others.

This also includes Ezines and Solo Ads,  Banner Advertising, and Facebook Social Ads.

As a beginner, you want to start into these areas only once you have a firm grasp of the above two Strategies.  You will need a minimum budget of about $250-$500 per month for a total of 3 to 6 months.  For Google, you realistically need a budget of about $1000 per month for about 3 to 6 months.

The next step into this area should begin with ListBuilders and also Viral URL.  These you will need some time to become familiar with however.

Lets Look at your Marketing Goals.

You need to begin with a strategy that will start “Filling the Pipeline”.  You might start out writing down the specific goals you wish to accomplish and a column for the Goal Date and when it was achieved.  The goals will be based around the number of leads you are generating because Marketing is all about generating leads.  Let’s take a look at some examples of goals you might set to start.

1) Generate My First 10 Leads.

Some people beginning in online marketing have never generated any leads before.  Generating their first 10 leads is a major accomplishment.

2) Generate My First 100 Leads.

If you get to this point without quitting, you have accomplished more than 90% of all Network Marketers online.  This is a Huge Landmark.  This will likely require incorporating several of the above strategies.

3) Generate a Consistent 10 Leads per Day.

This starts to move you into some constant income if you have organized your sales funnel properly.  This usually indicates that you have become proficient at least 3 separate strategies in order to reach this goal.  You should shoot for this goal at about 3 month’s time if you are new to Internet Marketing.

There is a shift happening in the world of Network Marketing that involves the internet.  If you are reading this article you probably are in the process of evaluating how you can take advantage of the internet to build your Evolv Business.  Welcome to the world of Internet Marketing strategies.

First, you should congratulate yourself. Here are some statistics that you may want to wrap your head around.  Roughly 90% of Network Marketers are not marketing their business on the Internet.  That percentage is changing but you are on the front end of that change, my friend. Of the 10% that are marketing on the internet, about 90% of them are doing it wrong.  Do you want to be in the top 1% of all Network Marketers on the planet, or what? If so, keep reading.  If not, go on doing what you are doing.  I wish nothing but success for you and hope it works out for you.

So where do you start? The beginning is always the best place.  This is not a get quick rich plan and it will not happen overnight.  If it was simple, everyone would be doing it, right?  I am writing to the few percent that are willing to step up and take responsibility for their success.  If that is you, then you and I are on the same page and you better buckle your seat-belt.

4) Monetize Your Website:

You have to construct a “sales funnel” that will bring prospects through the system a step at a time and provide them with value and materials at each step.  This will provide you with commissions that will pay for your Evolv Marketing Efforts.  This allows you to get paid on prospects that don’t even join your primary Evolv business.

5)Learn to Pick Up The Phone:

No matter how good your system is, the business of Network Marketing in general and your Evolv business involves people to people contact. No system will sign up your leads for you no matter how well it is constructed.  You will have to get out of your comfort zone and pick up the phone.  The unique thing is that picking up the phone with this system is a whole different story.  You are not pitching your business to these people, remember….  they left their phone number on your list for you to call them.  That is a new world for most people.

What do I do with all the leads that I’m generating?

What is my next step?

I get these questions frequently.

Online strategies when done properly, will increase your lead generation and actually pay you for the people that don’t even join your business but what do you do with them after that?  If you don’t follow up on your leads, you are definitely throwing money away.

You’ve heard that the fortune is in the follow up and that is true to a degree, but you have to be able to generate the leads in the first place and build a list of qualified applicants over time.

The main purpose of Online Marketing programs, like the one I use, and the content that you market like video marketing, article marketing, social marketing etc. is to gain visibility. (A secondary purpose of the first three strategies can be to gain credibility.)

Why do you want to be visible? It’s not just so people will know who you are and what you do, it’s so they will do business with you.  People join with people, not opportunities.  Every person that has signed up on my team has done so because they want to do business with me.  They are convinced that I can help make them successful.  (They are right, by the way.)

If you have someone that has expressed interest in doing business with you, call them. Pick up the freakin phone and call them.  DO IT NOW.   You need to memorize this rule — following up on hot, or even warm, client leads is always more important than marketing for more visibility.  You can not, under any circumstances build your business without talking to people.  PERIOD.

There is a simple test that you can take to that will show you how and where to focus your marketing and selling efforts. If you think of the online marketing and sales process as a hose that starts flowing and the hose then empties into your pool by continuing down the pathway that you have laid out with your sales funnel, ask yourself…  where is the blockage.  Your priority has always got be in moving the leads further along in the sales funnel. The Online Marketing System that I use is awesome at generating leads but if you don’t call them and move them down the line, you have a serious kink in your hose.  To continue with that analogy, the pool will become stagnate.    Who is up for a swim in the stagnate pool.  Don’t mind that algae, really.

You need to find out where you are stuck!  Is it with turning on the hose? Is the pool filling up and getting stagnate? Or maybe you are diving into the pool but getting no where. Wherever you seem to be stuck is the area that needs to be addressed.  The problem is that 95% of Marketers don’t know where they are stuck or even how to fix it.

The beauty of the systematic approach is that it will teach you how to evaluate this for optimal results.   These are tried and true methods that you simply need to follow.  If you follow the system, the hose will be massive and you can turn the value while you are learning and getting PAID.  (That’s HUGE folks.)

Don’t try to re-invent the wheel here folks.  You will have to learn this, but for those that are willing to learn, this system is the way home.  No question….
